NotifBot ("the Bot") is a Telegram notification bot that sends scheduled reminders to registered groups and chats. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

Data We Collect

When you interact with the Bot, we collect and store the following information:

• Telegram Chat ID — the unique identifier of a group or chat where the Bot is registered
• Chat Title — the name of the group or chat
• Chat Type — whether it is a private chat, group, or supergroup
• Reminder Content — the text of reminders you create through the web interface
• Reminder Schedule — CRON expressions or one-time dates for scheduled notifications
• Delivery History — timestamps and status (success/failure) of sent notifications

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal user data (names, phone numbers, email addresses)
• We do not read or store messages sent by users in chats
• We do not collect any data from users who do not interact with the Bot
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies

How We Use Your Data

The collected data is used solely for the following purposes:

• Sending scheduled reminders to registered chats
• Displaying reminder management interface in the web panel
• Maintaining delivery history for troubleshooting

Data Storage

All data is stored locally in an SQLite database on a private self-hosted server. Data is not transmitted to any third-party services, except for the Telegram Bot API which is used to deliver messages.

Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as the Bot is active and the chat is registered. You can remove your chat data at any time by:

• Removing the Bot from your Telegram group
• Deleting reminders through the web interface
• Contacting the Bot administrator

Third-Party Services

The Bot uses the Telegram Bot API to send messages. Please refer to Telegram's Privacy Policy for information on how Telegram handles your data.

Data Security

Access to the web management panel is protected by HTTP Basic Authentication. The Bot does not expose any user data publicly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
